Childbirth and Postpartum support are my areas of expertise. I am dedicated to providing you with reassurance that the emotions you go through before, during, and after delivery are entirely normal. Assisting birthing individuals through this transformative period is deeply meaningful to me. I firmly believe that antepartum care greatly influences the labor and birth process, as well as postpartum well-being. Leveraging my professional training, I can provide effective techniques and recommend strategies for enhancing comfort. My commitment lies in supporting families by offering evidence-based guidance, empowering them with resources, and collaboratively exploring avenues for achieving positive outcomes starting with pregnancy until the postpartum period. I’m here to assist families, hands on, by understanding their fears, wants & needs through a powerful, purposeful and peaceful mindset with solace.
About Me
I bring a wealth of experience as an OBGYN Nurse, having worked in diverse healthcare settings such as Home Care (Pediatric and Geriatric), Long Term Care, and Transitional Care Units. My professional journey has provided me with valuable insights into delivering individualized care. This hands-on experience has bolstered my confidence in my training and expertise as a doula. As a doula, I define individualized care as tailoring support to meet the unique needs of birthing individuals and extending assistance to involved family members. With a strong passion for Labor/Delivery and Mother/Baby care, I hold professional certifications as a Childbirth and Postpartum Doula from DONA International, with additional expertise in Fertility Support based on personal experiences. My goal is to maintain an open, proactive approach to collaborating with families to achieve their holistic well-being objectives.
